GRIEP Workshop

Welcome to the Workshop on “Global Repercussions of International Economic Policies”, jointly organized by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, the Globalization Chair at the Paris School of Economics, the Chair for International Economics at Bielefeld University, TED University Ankara, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, and hosted by Galatasaray University Economic Research Center (GIAM).

The workshop will bring together leading economists to discuss the economic implications of globalization, particularly focusing on the effects of international economic policies beyond borders. Topics include:

• effects of trade policies, e.g., on labour markets
• effects of sanctions on third countries
• shifts in global trade and investment under increasing political fragmentation

We invite researchers to submit their papers for presentation at the workshop. Detailed information about submission guidelines and deadlines can be found in our Call for Papers.
